Mr. Neal Tackoor - Director / CEO
Mr. Neal Tackoor is one of the founders of Non Destructive Testers Limited since 1990. Mr. Tackoor’s career in the energy sector began in 1957 while employed with Shell Trinidad Limited. He has been the Chief Executive Officer at NDTL since 2006. He is certified in the ASNT discipline of Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle, and Radiographic Examination also AWS certified.
Mr. Tackoor's years of experience, critical thinking and calculated approach to business brings success to NDTL.
Mr. Wayne Thomas - Director
Mr. Wayne Thomas has been with Non Destructive Testers since 1990 and held many portfolios from Senior Supervisor and Plant Inspector to Operations Manager in the year 1999. He was later promoted to Company Director in December 2005. His career in the energy sector started with Trinidad Inspection Services Ltd in 1974. Mr. Thomas is known for his problem solving skills and coming up with workable solutions. He is a member of the American Welding Society for over twenty one (21) years.
Mrs. Ludmila Tackoor-Addo - Managing Director
Mrs. Ludmila Tackoor-Addo started with Non Destructive Testers Limited in 1995. She worked on the field as an ASNT Technician doing Radiographic Examination and Ultrasonic Testing then later was qualified in Magnetic Particle Examination and Liquid Dye Penetrant Testing. She holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of the West Indies. She is a member of NACE International since 2005 and a member of the American Welding Society for over nineteen (19) years. Mrs. Tackoor-Addo was the first female Certified Welder in Trinidad and Tobago. She currently holds the post of Managing Director at Non Destructive Testers Limited since 2006 and continues to lead the organization towards continuous and competitive growth.
Steven Samlalsingh - General Manager
Steven joined our team on 1 March 2022 and is responsible for Finance, Commercial & Legal matters, Business Development, Procurement, ICT and Reputation Management. Steven brings to NDT a wealth of know-how and experience having spent over twenty years in executive and leadership roles in the academic and energy sector and as a director on a number of state boards. An accountant by profession, Steven is an honorary Rotarian and the founding chairman of Prestige Foundation, hosts of PREStige all inclusive. Steven is a contributing writer to the Energy Now newsletter and is the Principal Consultant at Solveris Systems and Solutions Limited.
Videsh Basdeo - Operations Manager
Videsh Basdeo has been with NDTL family as of 2001. He worked his way up from NDE Technician to Projects Manager in 2009. He is qualified in the NDE discipline Radiographic Examination, Liquid Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic Testing. He is PMI certified and is a Certified Associate in Project Management. He was nicknamed “Logitech” because of his ability to think quickly and come up with feasible solutions. He is always learning and being on top of his game.
Kamal Heeralal - Offshore Manager
Kamal Heeralal has been with Non Destructive Testers Limited since 2001. He started off as a NDE Technician and has advance over the years to Asset Integrity/Offshore Operations Manager. He introduced new techniques to increase the services provided by NDTL and to be a competitive provider in the Energy Sector. Some of these services includes Computer Radiographic Testing (CRT), Phased Array Ultrasonic (PAUT), Pulse Eddy Current (PEC), Qualitative Short Range (QSR), Time of Fight Detection (TOFD) to name a few. Kamal is a qualified as a NDE LII Technician in the discipline Ultrasonic Shear Wave, Radiographic Examination, Magnetic Particle Examination and Liquid Dye Penetrant Examination, certified as an API-570, API-510 and API 580 Inspector, Nace L1 Inspector, Hands on Lyft PEC Training.
Jude Ferraz - Land Operations Manager
Jude Ferraz has been a part of the NDTL family since 2001. Here he held different port folios from Technician to Team Lead / Supervisor and was promoted to Project Manager in 2021. He is a qualified ASNT LII Magnetic Particle, Liquid Dye Penetrant and Ultrasonic Technician, a certified Nace L1 / API 510 & API 570 Inspector. He was awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration in 2020, also completed Level 2 IVQ Technician Certificate in Engineering and certified body is City & Guild.
Adrian Maharaj - Audit Manager
Adrian Maharaj, a man with a wealth of experience, understanding and people skills. He is very articulate and takes pride in his work. He has been at Non Destructive Testers Limited since 1994. He started off as Stores Manager / Jobs Coordinator, promoted to Acting Facilities Manager later to Operations Manager and now Audit Manager. He was a member of the Non Destructive Testers Limited Cricket Team, Treasurer of NDTL Sports Club, Employee of the Year in 1996, 1998 and 2000, Recognition from BGTT for coordination and support of Inspection Services. He is always ready to assist and face any challenge. His educational background is just as impressive as his work ethic and experience. He is qualified in Occupational Health & Safety, International Maritime Dangerous Goods – IATA, Distinction in Quality Control Management, Certificate in Effective Quality Systems Documentation & Implementation, Certificate in Radiation Protection Supervisor, Facilities Management, Offshore Container Design, Certification & Inspection, Computed Radiography (CR) Level II to name a few.
Jairam Ralph-Sammy - Operations Coordinator
Jairam Ralph-Sammy aka Tony has been with NDTL since November, 2002. Tony held many portfolios such as Stores attendant, an Assistant in the Operations department and now he is the Operations Coordinator. He’s certified in Computer Radiography, Radiographic Film Interpretation, RSO etc. When Tony isn’t busy scheduling employees on jobs and getting all Client requests completed, he is singing along to a Bollywood Tune or an Oldie Goldie, while drumming away on his desk. Family is his greatest value; he is a kind hearted person who gives without looking for anything in return.
Purnima Khallie - Human Resources Manager
Purnima Khallie, is the Human Resource Manager at Non Destructive Testers Limited from 2008 to present. She started her career with NDTL in 2002 as an office clerk with a background predominantly in the accounting field. Ms. Khallie has completed studies in Quality, HSE, Logistic Management, Human Resource Management. Etc. She holds a BTEC Level 5 HND in Human Resource Management and a Master of Human Resource Management from the University of the West Indies and is also affiliated with the following professional bodies: HRMATT, CIPD, NAMI, and PAN Certification (International Society for Performance Improvement)
Kirk Thomas - Head of Guyana Operations
Kirk Thomas has accomplished so much at such a young age. He started with Non Destructive Testers Limited in 2011 and has grown significantly in the role of QHSE Manager. He represents NDTL at site visits and Client Meetings. He plays an integral part in most Audits conducted at NDTL be it internally or externally. He is currently working and promoting the company business in Guyana. His knowledge and experiences makes him efficient in his field of work. His educational background includes Radiation Safety Officer Training, Internal Quality Auditing, International Maritime Dangerous Goods certified, CVQ in Training and Assessments as a Certified Assessor and NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
Esan Nedd - QHSE / Facility Coordinator
Esan Nedd has brought to the NDT team years of experience and knowledge in his role as the QHSE / Facility Coordinator. His strong personality and level of commitment earns him the respect and attention of his colleagues to effectively perform such an integral and serious role. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health and he plays a key role in the organisation’s emergency responsiveness and business continuity scenarios. Esan enjoys playing steelpan and deejays music on his spare time.
